Cats Suck ! ( Sorry Nicole )

I know you all are cursing me right now, but you did not have my day.

Today, I experience being bitten three times ( through skin ) and scratched up.

AND I AM NOT EVEN A CAT OWNER !!!!

We had 4 cats to groom today, and 3 of them were sadistic little bastards. Sigh.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that one of them pissed and shit itself, on the table....... Good Thing I Ducked !

Man, they are the squirmyest, rubberyest, little things, I tell ya. It felt like they were made out of silly putty at some points. And I sure as hell would like to be able to turn my head around 180 degrees !!!

Now, I am an animal lover, but these were persian cats. From a breeder and everything, some of them "show quality".... Well "show me the ugly stick is more like it" !!!! Man those things are not graced with cuteness.

One had such a short pallet that his tongue would not fit all the way it, so the tip of it just stuck out all the time.

Another has such a pushed in face that his nose was completely flat, and his nostrils were two little lines, that did not even open.

Then there is the bungy out eyes. Sheesh, these poor creatures do not have a whole hell of alot going for them......

except maybe the fact that they bite and scratch like hell !

The Great Pumpkin Patch Charlie Brown

These are some pictures I took at the Pumpkin Patch this past weekend. It was time for the annual search for the "perfect" pumpkin.

You know what I like about the search for "THE" pumpkin ? Well, lemme tell you.

It is the fact that everyone's idea about the perfect pumpkin is different. Some people prefer tall ones, some others lumpy ones. they come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.

Everyone can walk through a pumpkin patch and envision their piece of Halloween creativity coming to fruition.

My son for example always has to find a green one. My daughter, the biggest one. My husband the weirdest. I myself tend towards the roundest ones...... I wonder why that may be ? HAHAHAHAH.

But no matter what they look like on the outside they are all the same on the inside....

The moral of the story... no matter what it seems on the outside, it is the inside that counts......AND it is always the mom left holding the bag.

Daily Shower

Yes, the perils of work. I am afraid I am turning into a prune.. I am soaked from head to toe everyday, from the bathing of dogs. This, despite the fact that I wear an apron etc.

Then, on top of the wet, you have the hair. Because what would be wet without having hair to stick all to it.

Yes, so, by the end of the day I pretty much look like a wet hairy dog myself. LOL.

Oh yes..... and smell like one too. A wet one !

But for once I can say....... I Love My Job !!!

Happy Turkey Day

Thankgiving has arrived !

I have not posted in awhile as I have been busy at my new job and with bookings at home too :) I am pretty wiped at the end of the day, but that is a good thing.

Although, how come it seems like on a longweeked you never take time to relax, oooohhh noooooo. Instead we decide that is the best time to do all that stuff that gets missed.

And of course, me being me, it usually intails injurying myself in some oh so dainty ( NOT ) way.

Well, this one involved a TV falling on my head ! Oh it is OK, it was not our BIG one, but you never would've know it. That stupid little thing must have been made out of cement.........wait....... maybe it is my head !!!!! hahaha.

Anyway, then as I sat with my icepack on my head, I decided it would be a good idea to kick over my glass of diet orange soda. Yup, Whooo Hoooo. That way I was able to test out my new stain remover.......

But dinner was great ! I didn't even cook the bag of giblets and necks and stuff this year !!!!!!!
